We offer two main types of tailor-made Dutch language courses: Conventional Courses (focused on academic foundation and grammar = your teacher talks 80% of the lesson time) and Conversation Courses (focused on speaking fluency = you talk 80% of the lesson time).

Conversational Courses
Do you want to improve your Dutch vocabulary, pronunciation, or fluency? Or perhaps you want to overcome your fear of speaking Dutch… now’s the time!

Benefit: From the very first lesson you will be able to speak more and more Dutch.
During your conversational class you will be talking at least 80% of the lesson time. This in contradiction to some 20% in a conventional lesson, where your teacher would be talking most of the time and you would be listening.
Starting day: flexibility in choosing your start date (private lesson) or in consultation with your fellow students (tiny group), and setting your own pace.
How it works: In order to be able to participate in each conversational class, you prepare for the lesson by learning two short texts. The texts are written using the most frequently used Dutch words. The topics include typical day to day conversations on the street, in a store, about your house and the weather, traveling and Dutch society, etc., etc.
As homework you read the text, you listen to each sentence and also to the individual words. You learn the meaning of these Dutch words and sentences. In order to practice and master your pronunciation you repeat the words and the sentences. To help you learn there are translations available into quite some of the most widely spoken languages.
